Hey guys, my name is Amanda Holston. I actually have a few names I respond to: Mom, Mom, Mom, Momma, Mommy. It is guaranteed that if “Mom” is yelled, I will look. I have four children; they make me more crazy than I already am on my own. Jenna is fourteen, my biggest help. Carter is twelve and his “bruh”s to people he is playing with on Fortnite drive me insane, then his “I love you Mommy”s make me melt. Breeleigh is nine; she is a gentle hearted Albino, yes literally. Skye is seven; she’s just a mess with the biggest personality EVER. Just send help…..

I am married. Been married pretty much my whole life and a few times at that (we will get into that later). Steven caught my heart 22 years ago, and here we are still trying to figure this love thing out. You will hear me mention him a lot. I sure hope you like him. If you don’t, that’s okay many people think they don’t. BUT man I sure do. 😍

I have been a hair stylist for about ten years. I LOVE my job; I LOVE my clients. I get to play with their hair while they get a free therapy session. Win-Win right?

As you will very quickly read, I have a big sense of humor and love to joke. I laugh at myself at some point every single day. I also have a problem with picking on people, mostly my children but we won’t exclude anyone here. Just don’t be an easy target.

Here are a few questions I found to include in the introduction, to help you understand my goals and purpose:

1. Why am I blogging?
   • I was encouraged by my spiritual mother to start a blog, to tell my story, share my growth, inspire other women.
2. Who would I love to connect with via my blog?
   • Women who want a deeper relationship with God, their husband and children, or even friends but aren’t sure how to get there.
   • Women who struggle with:
     • faith
     • trust
     • anger issues
     • addiction
     • rebellion
     • past hurt/unforgivness
     • the need to be in control
     • abandonment/rejection
     • needing to be “filled”

I am putting my heart into this blog, and I pray that at least one post will touch you in some way. If you know me, you’re probably wondering who told me I could write something that would make a difference; I am a hot mess express. If you don’t know me, well hey, here we are. I am awesome. Mwah.
